Who I’m Best Positioned to Help

I provide support to adults in Massachusetts, Florida, and Vermont, many of whom are capable, reflective, and used to managing many things on their own, while also feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or out of touch beneath the surface.

I have experience helping adults experiencing:

  • Trauma-related symptoms such as  hypervigilance, avoidance, or feeling stuck in survival mode

  • Persistent worry, burnout, self-criticism, people-pleasing, or difficulty resting

  • The emotional impact of chronic illness, medical stress, changing abilities, or uncertainty about the future

  • Perfectionism and high-functioning overwhelm that make it difficult to set limits or feel “good enough”

  • Life transitions such as career changes, relationship shifts, caregiving, grief, relocation, or identity changes

  • A desire to better understand longstanding patterns and develop more self-trust, steadiness, and meaningful ways of moving forward

A Trauma Informed Approach

I take a collaborative, compassionate approach that considers each client's level of readiness and sense of safety.

Collaboratively, we work together to:

  • Understand the patterns that are keeping them stuck

  • Build practical grounding and coping skills

  • Feel safer and more connected to themselves and others

  • Process unresolved experiences at a manageable pace

  • Develop greater self-trust, flexibility, and choice in daily life

My approach is also neurodivergent-informed, meaning I consider how differences in attention, sensory processing, communication, executive functioning, and nervous-system regulation may shape a client’s experience of stress and trauma.

Where appropriate, I use evidence-based methods such as EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based techniques.
